AGILE DEVELOPMENT

Technical expertise is one aspect, at af83 we do « agile » development. This involves :

• Concern with effective design and easy usability : rich interfaces are developed in accessible XHTML, degradable AJAX and Flash to make it nice
• Swift applications aggregation : RSS feeds, mashups, couplage faible des composants , API REST
• Development methods inspired by eXtreme programing and characterised by some rapid iterations and usage of design patterns
• Strong implication in the Open Source community, both in Paris and in San Francisco (BarCamps, MashPits…)

COMMUNITIES ANIMATION

Marketing expertise is the other aspect, at af83 we know how communities emerge and survive:

• Primacy is given to the community of users : the aim is to federate a community, foster the production of rich content, generate interactions between users
• Community management consists in the design and application of moderation rules, creation of relationships between the site/ the platform and its community…
• New Trends marketing involves trafic creation and renown through one to one marketing actions (infiltration), virality (actions on the community platforms); and specific approach for bloggers and lead users.
